Police reported the arrest at about 11.50pm yesterday of a 20-year-old man from Hamilton Parish who was wanted in connection with an ongoing investigation.

The man was taken to Hamilton Police Station and detained, a spokeswoman said.

Meanwhile, four people were arrested over the weekend on suspicion of impaired driving, and 12 were arrested for outstanding warrants.

Officers also conducted liquor-licence checks at various licensed premises throughout the Island.
