Shares of KeyTech Ltd surged more than four per cent in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading today.

The telecommunications firm gained 15 cents, or 4.2 per cent, to close the day on $3.70, as 35,600 shares changed hands.

The only other domestic-board company to trade was financial services holding company Somers Ltd, which stayed unchanged on $14.25 as 281 shares were traded.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index gained 1.85 points, or 0.14 per cent, to close the day on 1,360.32. Trading volume was 35,881 shares and turnover was $135,583.75.

The BSX Insurance Index added 27.07 points, or 1.79 per cent, to close on 1,539.68.
