Dr Freddie Evans, a Bermuda National Athletics Association official, has passed a Level 2 technical officials course in Puerto Rico with high marks.

Evans passed the Level 1 technical course in 2012, which was held in Bermuda before the Carifta Games and that made him eligible to participate in last month’s course which took place from December 15 to 20.

“Dr Evans passed the Level 2 course with flying colours when he sent us his report,” Donna Watson, the BNAA president, said. “We have no doubt he will be called upon as a technical officer in future international events with his increased accreditation. Congratulations to Dr Evans from the BNAA.”

Dr Evans was also selected as a technical official for the Carifta Games in Martinique last year.
