A total of 70,135 shares worth $168,856 traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange today.

The Bank of Butterfield saw 58,355 of its shares sold, leaving the price unchanged at $1.99.

And 10,000 shares in insurance firm Argus Group Ltd changed hands, leaving its price ten cents (2.9 per cent) up at $3.60.

Paint company Devonshire Industries closed 49 cents (10.9 per cent) up at $4.99 after 1,000 of its shares sold.

The Royal Gazette/BSX ended the day at 1,362.30, up 1.98 points (0.15 per cent).

And the BSX Insurance Index closed up 3.98 points (0.26 per cent) at 1,515.47.
