LOM Stockbrokers Ltd announced that John Portelli has been promoted to vice-president — investments.

Mr Portelli joined LOM in March 2010 as a financial adviser and has since risen to his new position.

Michael Greaves, sales manager at LOM said: “I am pleased to recognise John’s individual achievements. He’s an experienced and valued member of our team.”

Mr Portelli said: “There have been many exciting things happening at LOM over the past few years and I am very grateful to have been a part of it.” He added: “LOM’s approach to trading the markets and their asset management suite has really helped me provide superior investment solutions to my clients.
