A real estate firm has honoured a record eight staff for a total of 125 years of service.

Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty said the employees had worked for the firm for between five and 25 years.

The firm’s president and CEO Brian Madeiros said: “In today’s employment environment, retention of long-serving staff has become a challenge but in the local service sector it is key to success.” Three of the eight — sales representatives Heather Chilvers, Karen Brine and Joy Jones — all sales representative — notched up a quarter of a century in the business.

Mr Madeiros said: “We are very proud of all of our dedicated employees, but particularly appreciate the commitment of these three ladies who have experienced many highs and lows in the Bermuda real estate market.”

Sales representative Jack Kripl has worked for Coldwell Banker for 15 years, while commercial representative Scott Powell, property manager Mike Chlebek, and appraiser Rob Newton have worked for the firm for ten years.

And appraiser Suzanne Stone has logged five years with the company.
