Shares totalling $160,931.50 were traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index last week, however, the Index remained relatively flat with a 0.34 point increase (0.02 per cent) over the five days, to close at 1,364.08.

The only stock to advance was Bermuda Aviation Services, which rose eight cents (3.2 per cent) to close at $2.61 after 5,000 shares changed hands.

Butterfield Bank was the most actively traded stock, with 58,004 traded during the week. There was no change in the closing price of $1.99.

Other stocks traded, but with no change in closing price, were Somers Limited, BF&M, and KeyTech.

The BSX Insurance Index rose 20 points (1.31 per cent) during the week to end at 1,509.09.
