Four days remain for the public to comment on the proposed purchase of the Bermuda Telephone Company by Digicel.

A reminder issued by the Regulatory Authority of Bermuda today requested that all comments for consideration be received by 4pm on Friday.

BTC offers the public fixed telephony and broadband internet access services. Digicel’s services include mobile telephony, internet service and international long distance access.

“Before making a decision whether to allow the purchase, the RAB wants to ensure that it provides every opportunity to interested members of the public and other communications service providers to express their opinions,” an authority spokesman said.
