Fatal road crash driver rebailed

A Bermudian driver arrested after a fatal crash in Britain has been rebailed by Police until next month.

The 69-year-old, from Southampton, was behind the wheel when his car collided with a motorcyclist in West Sussex.

The man, whose name has not been released by the local police authorities, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and bailed until February 5. He has now been re-bailed until March 9.

The accident happened on August 24 on the A29, close to the village of Bury.

The motorcyclist, William Ruewell, 20, died after the crash.

The Bermudian’s passenger, a 64-year-old Bermudian woman, suffered whiplash and a broken collarbone in the accident.
