Bacardi are sponsoring a new weekly golf tournament at Turtle Hill Golf Club.

The Bermuda PGA Betterball Series starts on Monday and will run until the Grey Goose World Par 3 Championship at the end of next month.

Teams will be made up of one professional and one amateur, who must have an official handicap, and the entry fee is $50 per team.

Prize money will be paid out depending on the number of teams that enter, with the winning team also taking home a bottle of Bacardi each. There will be four closest to the pin holes, with the prize also being a bottle of Bacardi.

PGA of Bermuda professionals can sign up their teams by calling the Turtle Hill Golf Shop on 239 6952.

n The Landro Minors Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on February 21st, and not the 28th as previously reported. The captain’s choice tournament will take play at Ocean View Golf Club, with part of the proceeds going to help pay the medical expenses for Glenn Pitcher, the former St David’s player.
