Winter weather caused flight cancellations

Winter weather in the United States has led to a handful of flight cancellations to and from the Northeast.

A storm system, referred to as Winter Storm Marcus, has buried the Northeast in heavy snow since yesterday, limiting travel in the region.

According to the LF Wade International Airport website, JetBlue and Delta have cancelled scheduled flights to and from New York’s JFK airport.

JetBlue flights 1731 and 1732 have been listed as cancelled, along with Delta flights 485 and 1773.

However, other flights in the region, including this evening’s American Airlines Flight 1416 from JFK to Bermuda, were still scheduled to take place as of this afternoon.
