Three stocks declined on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index last week, pulling the index down 6.45 points (0.47 percent) to close the week at 1,368.44.

A total of 26,543 shares, worth a combined $70,390, were exchanged.

Ascendant Group, the parent company of Belco, fell 20 cents (3.4 per cent) to close at $5.60 after 4,800 shares changed hands.

Bank of Butterfield shares ended the week one cent down (0.5 per cent) at $1.99 after 21,743 shares were traded, and HSBC Holdings lost 15 cents (1.63 percent) to close at $9.05 after 2,752 of its shares changed hands.
