Shares of Watlington Waterworks Ltd leaped 5.7 per cent in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading today.

The water utility gained 95 cents to close on a new 52-week high of $17.75, as 300 shares changed hands.

Butterfield Bank was the only other stock to trade, remaining unchanged on $1.99 on the trading of 68,800 shares.

Watlington’s move was enough for The Royal Gazette/BSX Index to edge 0.84 of a point higher to close on 1,369.28.
