A motorcycle rider has been injured in a two-vehicle collision.

At about 5.12pm a collision occurred between a motorcycle and a car on Middle Road, Warwick, near the junction with St Mary’s Road.

“Details are limited at this time but it appears that a male rider was riding along Middle Road when he lost control of his vehicle,” a Police spokeswoman said.

“The rider was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance where he is being treated for leg injuries.

“Traffic was diverted away from the area while Traffic Collision Investigators process the scene.

“The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the motoring public for their patience,” the spokeswoman added.
