A total of ten new insurance firms have registered in Bermuda in the first two months of the year, according to Bermuda Monetary Authority figures.

And the BMA also approved a new broker, Winklevoss Ltd.

The list includes four special purpose insurers, Cenuturiae Re, Valins, Securis Re LCM and Skuld II Re.

There were seven registrations in January and four in February.
