Island insurance firm BF&M is to be the official America’s Cup healthcare provider. BF&M president and CEO John Wight said: “With the America’s Cup coming to Bermuda we wanted to show our support for the event and our community. This agreement allows us to be involved with one of the biggest things to happen in Bermuda.

“We’re very proud and excited to be a part of it.”

Defending champions Oracle Team USA crew and America’s Cup Event Authority (ACEA) staff already on the Island, healthcare arrangements needed to be put in place to cover them and their families.

ACEA chief financial officer Scott Smith said: “We’re very happy to have BF&M providing a high standard of care for staff at both ACEA and Oracle Team USA, along with their families.”
