BF&M Ltd shares rose in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading today.

The insurer climbed ten cents, or 0.6 per cent, to close on $17.50 as 6,300 of its shares traded.

Butterfield Bank was the most heavily traded stock, with 180,345 of its common shares changing hands, as the price remained unchanged on $1.98.

West Hamilton Holdings Ltd, Ascendant Group Ltd and Argus Group Holdings Ltd also traded without their share prices moving.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index climbed 0.69 points, or 0.05 per cent, to close on 1,361.87. Trading volume totalled 189,045 shares, while turnover was $481,153.10.

The BSX Insurance Index gained 5.81 points, or 0.37 per cent, to close on 1,564.15.
