“BFRS responded to the incident with one appliance and four personnel from our Hamilton Station,” said Fire Service spokesman Sergeant Jamal Albuoy. “Prior to our arrival, a portable fire extinguisher was used to extinguish the small fire. BFRS personnel removed all the debris, secured the scene by wetting down the area and ventilating the residence. At the time, no one was injured and the cause of the fire is under investigation.”
