A total of four stocks dropped on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

Bank of Butterfield preference shares stood at $1,573.63 — down $5 (0.4 per cent) after five shares traded.

Shares in the Bank of Butterfield were unchanged at $1.97 after 36,326 shares sold.

Ascendant Group, parent of power firm Belco, was down 35 cents (6.5 per cent) at $5.05 after 500 shares changed hands.

And telecoms firm KeyTech saw 300 shares move, leaving its price at $2.86 — down 14 cents (4.7 per cent).

Insurance firm Argus Group were down 9 cents (2.3 per cent) at $3.90 after 100 shares moved.

The Royal Gazette/BSX closed down 6.38 points (0.47 per cent) at 1,352.06.

The BSX Insurance Index stood at 1,575.63, up 1.3 points (0.08 per cent).
