Three stocks end week lower
Three stocks finished the week lower and one higher on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.
Devonshire Industries’ stock improved by $1.01 (20.2 per cent) to close at $6.00 after 700 shares changed hands.
In the insurance sector, Argus Group fell 40 cents (10 per cent) to close at $3.60, after 1,200 shares were exchanged, and BF&M was down 60 cents (3.3 per cent), finishing at $17.40 after 13,700 shares were traded.
Shares in Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd, the parent company of this newspaper, fell 50 cents (6.7 per cent) to close at $7.00 after 2,800 changed hands.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed the week down 12.77 points (0.97 per cent) at 1,308.04. The total value of shares traded was $304,823.
The BSX Insurance Index finished the week up 12.84 points (0.82 per cent) at 1,587.80.
