Why hasn’t road still been repaired?

Unpassable: The Ministry of Public Works began work on Palmetto Road (Marsh Folly) some two years ago. Our reader wants to know why it still hasn't been repaired

Dear Sir,

I was going to Marsh Folly dump today only to find the road was closed. I had to go over to Cedar Avenue and back in to Marsh Folly to get to the dump.

I then went along Black Watch Pass and saw the new wall built in preparation for the roundabout.

I heard a report on the wall in Paget, where the Minister the Hon Craig Cannonier, JP, MP was praising Government employees for getting the job done ahead of time.

This makes me wonder why the wall on Marsh Folly Road has been under repair for over two years, causing disruption to traffic and also concern for the gentleman whose property was affected.

Why can certain projects be done at great speed and another affecting a man and his family takes so long?

I wonder whether the Minister has any answers as to when the Marsh Folly wall may be completed?
