About 15 female high school students from Saltus, BHS, Cedarbridge, Berkeley and Mount St Agnes, as well as some undergraduates, took part in a “speed networking” event to learn more about the reinsurance business.

The event was staged by Women in Reinsurance (WiRe) in partnership with the Bermuda Foundation for Insurance Studies and was hosted and sponsored by Allied World Assurance Company.

WiRe members provided advice and insight into their career development, daily work activities and educational backgrounds during a series of mini “mentoring interviews” with female students.

The goal of the event was to offer Bermuda’s future professionals the opportunity to receive advice, learn from us and build their network.
