Some 40 members of the Bermuda Bowling Senate, including president Lionel Dowling, will be in Las Vegas this weekend and next week to participate in the tournament of the National Bowling Association, with which the Senate is affiliated.

The Bermuda bowlers will be participating in men’s and ladies’ team events, singles and doubles, and other events that are open to seniors. There will also be mixed teams and mixed doubles. They will be competing with between 9,000 and 11,000 other bowlers from across the United States, with thousands of dollars in prize money up for grabs.
