Why not implement the idea of TV licensing here in Bermuda?

The broadcasting companies provide news and entertainment for everyone who owns a television, and they do it for free.

I am sure people wouldn’t mind spending $150 a year on a TV licence.

They do so in the UK and in other countries, and the capital raised from the licence fee could be split between Government and the Island’s broadcasting companies, which could surely do with extra funding.
