Unresponsive man treated and released

A 52-year-old Warwick man who was rushed to hospital after being found in an unresponsive state on Friday was treated and released in a matter of hours.

On Friday, a police spokesman said that at about 12.50pm that day, emergency services attended Bluff Lane, Pembroke after receiving reports of a man found laying in an unresponsive state on the side of the road.

He was subsequently taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The spokesman said this afternoon that the man had been treated for his condition and discharged from the hospital at around 3.40pm that same day.
