Snowball Shack opens today
The Snowball Shack is aiming to take the heat out of summer.
Businesswoman Malisa Swan — who runs the successful Bermuda Cupcake Company — will today open up the pop-up shack, based in a tent.
Ms Swan said: “It’s getting hot and everybody’s looking for a snowball and they are hard to find today.”
The Snowball Shack will be located on Railway Terrace, just off Palmetto Road in Pembroke, which allows for a drive-through operation.
The new venture will offer more than 21 different flavours and a total of 46 snowball specials with names like ‘summer dream’ and ‘razzle dazzle’, as well as slushies.
Ms Swan said: “The flavours are original and very tasty — they’re not watery, they’re unique and nice.”
She added: “A pop-up can make more than a store — you can pop up anywhere or at an event and make money.”
The Snowball Shack will open between noon and 7pm seven days a week and prices range from $3 to $6.50.
