The Bank of Butterfield rose five cents to $1.70 on The Royal Gazette/BSX.

The three per cent increase in the bank’s price came after 10,000 shares changed hands.

Property firm West Hamilton Holdings fell 95 cents (15.8 per cent) to $5.05 after 900 of its shares moved.

The Royal Gazette/BSX closed up 21.12 points (1.76 per cent) up at 1,219.29.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 8.28 points (0.53 per cent) at 1,562.10.
