A teenager was remanded into custody this morning after being charged with using a firearm to steal a motorcycle.

Tijuan Davis, 19, from Sun Valley Road, Warwick, was charged with both robbery and using a firearm to commit an indictable offence in connection to an incident which occurred in Warwick on February 4.

He was not required to enter a plea on the matter as it must be heard by the Supreme Court. However he did deny a separate charge of receiving stolen goods, specifically a gold necklace, on May 31.

Following bail arguments, Senior Magistrate Juan Wolffe remanded Mr Davis into custody. The matter is scheduled to return to court on June 22 to be mentioned.
