Telecoms firm KeyTech was the most traded stock on The Royal Gazette/BSX.

A total of 26,700 shares in the firm were exchanged, however the share price remained unchanged at $2.80.

And 2,300 shares in insurance firm BF&M traded, moving its price down 50 cents (2.8 per cent) at $17.20.

The Royal Gazette/BSX closed down 3.81 points (0.32 per cent) at 1,173.82.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 16.58 points (1.04 per cent) at 1,609.93.
