Christ Church Warwick hosts bingo night

Christ Church Warwick will host a special bingo night with food, prizes and fun from 6pm until 9pm. The event is organised by the Outreach Ministry with Bermuda Overseas Missions to support their Malawi trip this summer. Next Saturday (June 27)

The Music and Drama (Mad) Group of Christ Church Warwick is holding a family entertainment evening as part of a fundraiser to restore the church in celebration of its 300th year. The theme is Music and Songs From the Islands of the World.

Evening Light Pentecostal Church Inc: Canadian evangelist Rev Marie Miller will speak on the Invincible Woman of Prayer, Power and Praise from 9.30am until 1pm. The event is free, but lunch is $12. RSVP before June 22: info@elpcbermuda.org or 292-4869 or 296-5044.

Mt Zion AME Church Male Voice Choir’s Ninth Annual Across The Island Concerts begins at the Clock Tower, Dockyard. The group will offer free music on their travels to Warwick and St George’s in subsequent weeks.

Saturday, July 4

Chapel of Ease Guild members will host their annual bingo dinner at 6pm in the church schoolroom at St David’s. The cost is $15. There will be lots of prizes and additional Bingo cards available. For more information contact 297-3535.

Sunday, July 12

Local Christian denominations will be honouring “Sea Sunday” with a special service at Mariners Club (located at 22 Richmond Road, Pembroke) at 12.45pm. Churches around the world hold services and prayers for seafarers on this day whose jobs take them away from their families and put them at risk of not only danger, but loneliness and stress.

Saint Andrew’s Presbyterian Church (the pink church on the corner of Church and Court Streets) will have its prayer group in the sanctuary from 12.45pm to 1.15pm. The group meets on the first and third Monday of each month to pray for individuals in the community and around the world.
