Stabbing victim remains in hospital

A man who suffered serious stab wounds in an incident last week was still in hospital yesterday receiving treatment.

According to a police spokesman, as of yesterday morning the 50-year-old Sandys resident was in the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit in a “stable condition”.

He reportedly suffered serious neck lacerations in the incident, which occurred near Four Star Pizza in Sandys.

The spokesman added: “The two men arrested in connection with the incident, which occurred around 10.25am Thursday, June 18, are still in police custody pending an anticipated court appearance.”
