BRFU officials re-elected

Re-elected: Field-Lament

The entire executive committee were re-elected to their posts at Bermuda Rugby Football Union’s annual general meeting on Thursday night.

Sean-Field Lament remains as president, with Roedolf van der Westhuizen staying on as vice-president and Lawrence Bird as chairman.

The club representatives for the 2015-2016 were also elected with Scott Divine, Police, Richard Howells,Renegades, Jonathan Lightbourne,Teachers, and Jamie Pooley,Mariners, joining the committee.

A new volunteer position of medical and safety officer was also created, and Shara Crunden was elected unopposed.

Crunden will coordinate player health, safety, welfare and anti-doping policies, as well as education and certification courses for Bermuda’s senior and youth rugby programmes.
