Teen charged with unlawful wounding

A teenager was charged with unlawfully wounding a man when she appeared in Magistrates’ Court this morning.

Quaashie Douglas, 16, allegedly injured Shaquille Dill with the intent of causing grievous bodily harm in Pembroke on June 15.

Ms Douglas was not required to enter a plea because the charge is indictable and must be heard in Supreme Court.

Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo granted $10,000 bail with a like surety on the condition that Ms Douglas have no contact with the alleged victim.

The matter was adjourned to July 22 for mention.
