Bermuda’s golf team look strong heading into today’s final round in Jersey.

Will Haddrell shot a three-over-par 74 this morning and sits fourth, just one shot behind a three-way tie for the top spot heading into the final round this morning.

Damian Palanyandi finished with a 72 and sits in sixth place, just two shots behind the leaders and in position to challenge for the podium in today’s decisive final round.

Mark Phillips shot 75 and ranks 13th, while Jarryd Dillas is in 30th.

Bermuda’s men’s team sit at third and locked in a tight battle with Isle of Man and Guernsey in the team event. At 654, they sit one point behind Isle of Man and seven behind Guernsey.

Bermuda’s women’s foursome of Ebonie Burgess, Katrin Burnie, Elizabeth Parsons, and Linda Down are fifth in the women’s team event with 757 points.

Burgess shot 78 yesterday and presently sits fourth, five points behind third and 11 behind leader Aimee Ponte of Guernsey.

Katrin Burnie sits in 15th with 258 over the first three rounds. Elizabeth Parsons is right behind at 16th, and Linda Down sits 26th.

Bermuda’s men’s indoor volleyball team went down in the semi-finals to Saaremaa. Bermuda lost all three sets, going down 25-19, 25-15, 25-19.

Bermuda’s women’s indoor volleyball team finished fifth in their event after beating Hitra 3-0 in the consolation bracket.

Emma Calow and Michael Palmer were knocked out of the mixed badminton doubles round of 32, losing 1-2 to Robert Karlsson and Viktoria Meimermondt of Gotland.

Carl Reid finished tenth in the NSRA 100 Yards Prone Rifle shooting qualification group.

J Andrew Pereira and Terence Madeiros finished 15th and 24th in the English Skeet Individual shooting final.
