A spinathon organised by Court House Squash and Wellness has raised $9,500 for Beyond Rugby and Bermuda Youth Rugby.

Beyond Rugby is a partnership between the Family Centre and Bermuda Rugby Football Union.

It works with young adults at CedarBridge Academy, Dellwood Middle School and the Berkeley Institute using core values of rugby to help develop young people.

Court House Squash and Wellness operations manager Alison Ince said: “The event would have not been the success it was if it was not for the assistance of all of the young rugby players as well as our bike sponsors Appleby Global, Freisenbruch-Meyer Group, Colonial Group International, BAS Serco Ltd, Argus Group, Argo Group, Ariel Re and Hannover Re.

“Everyone was kept refreshed throughout the twelve hours thanks to John Barritt & Son Ltd, Victoria Grill, Lindos Group of Companies and Bermuda Water Works Ltd.

“Our spinning instructors worked hard to ensure that all participants had a great workout and enjoyed themselves.”
