Today’s British Airways flights between Bermuda and London Gatwick have been cancelled.

Flight BA2233 had been scheduled to arrive on the Island at 6.30pm today, but the LF Wade International Airport website has listed the flight, as well as the return flight BA2232, as cancelled.

An airline spokeswoman said: “We are sorry that we have had to cancel our flights today to and from Bermuda as a result of a technical fault with the aircraft at Gatwick.

“We are doing everything we can to rebook customers onto alternative services as soon as possible.”

British Airways also cancelled its flights to and from the Island on Sunday, citing technical problems.
