Utilities firm Ascendant saw $50,000 of its shares trade on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

The move left the firm’s price unchanged at $5.20.

The transaction made up the bulk of the $266,600 worth of business involving 52,000 shares.

A total of 2,000 shares in Bermuda Aviation Services also changed hands, lifting the price 30 cents to $3.30.

The Royal Gazette/BSX closed 1.43 points (0.11 per cent) up at 1,247.13.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day 1.64 points (0.1 per cent) up at 1,616.62.
