Digicel Bermuda opened its new flagship store in Hamilton yesterday. Among those present at the ribbon-cutting ceremony were Premier Michael Dunkley, Digicel Bermuda chairman Charlie Marshall, Mayor of Hamilton Charles Gosling, and Grant Gibbons, Minister of Economic Development.

During launch day there were prize giveaways and discounts for customers who visited the new 4,400 square-foot space in the Boyle Building, on the corner of Church Street and Queen Street. The store has been fitted with customer service “pods” where clients can talk directly with an agent. The pods are enabled with point of sale technology designed to reduce the queuing and waiting times.
