Shares of Somers Ltd improved by $3.50 (35 per cent) to close at $13.50 after 4,500 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

also improving was Argus Group, which saw its shares improve 20 cents (5.3 per cent) to $4,00 after 3,000 were exchanged, and shares of Butterfield Bank were up by five cents (2.9 per cent) to $1.75, after 22,833 were traded.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index rose 49.56 points (4.15 per cent) to close at 1,243.82. The BSX Insurance Index was down 1.57 points (0.10 per cent) at 1,620.19.
