Norwegian makes small change to its schedule

Norwegian Cruise Lines has shaved a couple of hours off each of its liner’s time in Bermuda for the rest of the cruise season.

It is unclear why the cruise line has made the decision, but a spokeswoman for the Ministry of Transport said the change is not expected to have a detrimental effect on the Island.

“It is a very small schedule change that was the decision of the cruise line,” the spokeswoman added.

“We do not anticipate a detrimental effect on Bermuda and no decision has been made regarding next year.

“The Norwegian Dawn will now arrive at 1pm (on Sunday) instead of 11am and the Norwegian Breakaway will now depart at 3pm on Friday and not 5pm.”

It is also understood that for its final four calls the Norwegian Breakaway will arrive in Bermuda an hour later than its present 7.30am arrival slot.
