Three Tokio Millenium riders captured the top spots in each of the adult classes at the Bicycle Works Criterium yesterday morning in Hamilton.

The roads were slick initially following the downpour on Saturday night, but by mid-morning were dry and set the stage for some extremely tight finishes.

Manual Lonfat was the top finisher in the A division, edging Anthony Bartley by four hundredths of a second to claim the title in 47min 11.718sec. Matthew Oliviera was third in 47:12.141, less than a second behind the leaders.

Adam Hopkin took top honours on the B division with a time of 38:07.760, and Kian Wookey completed the Tokio hat-trick with first place in the C division with a time of 38:07.019.

Wenda Roberts of Bicycle Works was the fastest in the women’s division with a time of 37:40.702.

Zander Miller won the Junior A division in 38:09.417, and Jerico Sealey won the Junior C division in 12:31.621.
