The Royal Gazette/BSX closed down 3.8 points (0.3 per cent) at 1,243.64.

The Bank of Butterfield saw its price end the day one cent down (0.6 per cent) at $1.75 after 2,935 shares traded.

Utilities firm KeyTech, which last week posted losses of $1.9 million for the financial year ending in March, fell five cents (1.9 per cent) to close at $2.90 after 2,100 shares changed hands.

The BSX Insurance Index closes up 1.97 points (0.12 per cent) at 1,645.61.
