Dear Sir,

We would like to publicly thank the Friths (Easy does it) of Harrington Sound for graciously coming to our assistance when we experienced boating issues near Flatts on Sunday.

Their calm and competent handling of the whole situation was most appreciated.

Our four-day Cup Match holiday consisted of Thursday (a bike flat tyre), Friday (a car flat tyre), Saturday (“scratch and dent” episode with the wall at the new residence).

Finally, on Sunday, after a nice day in the water near Gibbet Island, what could go wrong?

Oh well, despite the transportational woes, there was one consolation: my team won the cup. Here’s to a less eventful Cup Match holiday 2016 and another team win!
