The sale pushed the bank’s price up one cent (0.6 per cent) to $1.75.

The Royal Gazette/BSX closed up 4.46 points (0.36 per cent) at 1,238.84.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 3.37 points (0.21 per cent) at 1,640.38.
