Requests for express passport renewal will only be accepted in cases of medical emergency, the Department of Immigration has advised.

The public is reminded to check the expiration dates of their passports. If they have expired, they should be renewed as soon as possible.

A request for a express passport in an emergency should have documentation from a medical practitioner.
