The president and CEO of Blue Capital Management has quit in the wake of the merger between Montpelier Re and Endurance.

Blue Capital Management, now part of Endurance, said that William Pollett had resigned.

Mr Pollett, who was also treasurer and corporate development and strategy officer at Montpelier, has also resigned from all of his former executive positions and directorships with Montpelier and its subsidiaries.

Mr Pollett is replaced by Adam Szakmary, who has been promoted to CEO and portfolio manager. Mr Szakmary joined Blue Capital Management when it launched in 2012.
