British visa process set to change

Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute

A new visa application process is to be introduced for people applying for British visas in Bermuda.

The UK Visas and Immigration, part of the British Home Office, which has the responsibility for issuing visas overseas, will be putting the new system in place from tomorrow.

According to a press release from the Home Office, its commercial partner, VFS Global, will operate a temporary visa application centre at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute.

For an additional fee to each applicant, the clinic will provide biometric enrolment and access to courier services.

Applicants for British visas will be able to attend their appointment and submit relevant paperwork and biometric data at BUEI from 8am to 2pm.
