A total of 10,500 shares worth $27,110 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

Telecommunications firm KeyTech was down 40 cents (13.8 per cent) to $2.50 after 9,200 of its shares moved.

The Bank of Butterfield saw 1,100 shares change hands, moving its price up two cents (1.2 per cent) at $1.70.

And insurance firm Argus was unchanged at $3.80 after 200 shares sold.

The Royal Gazette/BSX closed up 3.44 points (0.29 per cent) at 1,184.44.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 22.70 points (1.49 per cent) at 1,541.63.
