A health fair is to offer the public an opportunity to talk to medical professionals and get free screenings.

The Be Healthy Bermuda event, sponsored by the Lahey Hospital and Medical Centre, is scheduled to be held at the Women’s Resource Centre on September 19.

Among the healthcare experts taking part are Dr Rebecca Lang and Dr Dinamarie Garcia-Banigan of the Lahey Hospital, who will discuss breast cancer screenings and osteoporosis respectively.

They will be joined by Dr Amani Flood, who will discuss managing hypertension through healthy eating, and Dr Laura Dowling, who will talk about exercise and physical fitness.

The event is from 10am until 1pm. The Women’s Resource Centre is at Charities House, Point Finger Road, Paget.
