A 30-year-old Pembroke man will stand trial accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of jewellery and electrical equipment from homes.

Paul Johnson pleaded not guilty to six counts of burglary at Supreme Court arraignments this morning.

He is alleged to have broken into six homes between May 24 and June 16 this year and taken more than $20,000 worth of jewellery as well as televisions, a PlayStation, watches and games.

Mr Johnson, who was represented by lawyer Elizabeth Christopher, was remanded in custody by Puisne Judge Charles-Etta Simmons and is expected to go trial on October 19.

Also at arraignments today, two men denied separate charges of robbery with a firearm, while a third pleaded not guilty to wounding.

Shirwin Smith, 27, of Hamilton Parish, denied wounding Pernell Outerbridge on March 29, 2014. He was released on bail and is expected to return to court on October 5 when a trial date will be set.

In a separate case Gregory Tucker, 24, of Devonshire, pleaded not guilty to robbing Nigel Turuni on June 9 this year, as well as using a firearm to commit an indictable offence. He was remanded in custody and will stand trial on January 5 next year.

In another case Taijuan Angelo Davis, 20, of Warwick, denied robbing Alexandra Aluas of a motorcycle on February 4 and using a firearm to commit an indictable offence. Mr Davis was remanded in custody and is expected to stand trial next year.
